Receptionist CV and resume example

A receptionist is the first person every visitor meets, so employers read your CV for calm, organisation and a professional manner. They look for how busy your desk was, the booking, payment or patient systems you used and the languages you speak. Examples of problems you solved at the desk count for more than a list of duties.

How to write a receptionist CV

  1. Give the volume at your desk: visitors, calls, check-ins or appointments per day.
  2. Name the systems you used, such as a hotel system like Opera PMS, a clinic booking system or a switchboard, and any insurance or payment tasks.
  3. Include one result, such as shorter check-in times, fewer no-shows or upgrades sold, to show you do more than answer the phone.
  4. List every language you speak with your level, since front desks in the Gulf and other international cities serve visitors in many languages.
