How to write an accountant CV

1. Give the scale of your work: entities, invoices a month, annual turnover or the number of bank accounts you reconcile.
2. Show speed and accuracy with before-and-after numbers, such as month-end close cut from twelve days to five or fewer audit adjustments.
3. Name the standards and taxes you handle, for example IFRS, VAT and corporate tax, and the accounting system you use every day.
4. Put your qualification and its status in your headline or summary, for example 'ACCA member' or 'CPA, two exams remaining'.
