Caregiver CV and resume example

Care homes and families hire caregivers they can trust with older adults. They look for your TESDA Caregiving NC II, the type of clients you cared for and the daily tasks you did safely, from bathing and feeding to medication reminders and transfers. For jobs abroad, agencies and employers also check your years of experience, English level, first aid training and clean references from past employers.

How to write a caregiver CV

  1. Describe each client by age and condition, never by name, for example 'an 84-year-old man with Parkinson's disease and limited mobility', and give your daily hours.
  2. List the activities of daily living you handle, such as bathing, dressing, feeding, toileting and safe transfers with a gait belt.
  3. Show care results with facts, for example 'no falls or pressure sores in 14 months' or 'vital signs recorded twice a day for 8 residents'.
  4. Put TESDA Caregiving NC II and your first aid certificate with years, for example 'Standard First Aid and BLS-CPR with AED, 2025', and offer references from past employers.
