Chef CV and resume example

Executive chefs hire cooks who can run a section without supervision. Whether you apply as a chef de partie, commis or cook, they look for your section, cuisine and covers per service, then for food cost, wastage and hygiene discipline. In Gulf hotels, a valid HACCP or food safety certificate and a practical trade test often decide who gets hired.

  2. Show cost control with numbers, such as 'cut section food cost from 34% to 30% by tightening portions and daily ordering'.
  3. List your hygiene training and audit record, for example 'HACCP Level 3 and six hygiene audits passed with no critical findings'.
