Beautician CV and resume example

Salon managers hire beauticians who are quick, gentle and strict about hygiene. They want to see the treatments you can perform alone, how many clients you serve a day and how many of them rebook. In UAE salons you are often asked for a practical test, so list every service you can do at pace, from facials and waxing to threading and gel nails, and add your diploma.

How to write a beautician CV

  1. List treatments with daily volume, for example '10 to 12 clients a day with facials, full-body waxing, threading, manicure and pedicure'.
  2. Show repeat business, such as '60% of clients rebook within six weeks' or 'rated 4.9 from 300 client reviews'.
  3. Name your hygiene routine in one line, such as 'tools sterilised in an autoclave after every client, single-use spatulas and files, patch test before every tint or new skin product'.
  4. Add your diploma and the techniques you know, such as 'ITEC Level 2 Diploma for Beauty Specialists', hard wax, sugar wax, gel polish and acrylic nails.
