Cashier CV and resume example

Store managers hire cashiers who are accurate with cash and quick at the till. They look for the POS systems you used, transactions per shift, your cash shortage record and how you handled refunds, voids and card or wallet payments. In the Gulf and the Philippines, language skills and reliability on long shifts matter, so lead with your till and cash work, your shift pattern and any chain-store experience.

  2. Show your cash accuracy as a number, for example 'balanced my drawer within AED 5 on 98% of shifts' or 'no shortages in 18 months'.
  3. Write what you handle at the till, such as 'cash, cards, wallets, vouchers, refunds and voids, closing the shift with a Z report'.
