How to write an operations manager CV
- Open each role with the scope you ran, such as headcount, sites, orders per day or annual budget.
- Report gains as before-and-after numbers, for example 'on-time shipping from 88% to 97%' or 'cost per order down 14%'.
- Name the improvement methods you use, like Lean, Six Sigma or 5S, and the systems you run, such as an ERP or WMS.
- Include safety and people results, like incident rates and staff turnover, since they weigh as much as cost in most operations roles.
