Bank teller CV and resume example

Branch managers hire tellers who are accurate with cash and careful with rules. They want to know how many transactions you handled a day, how often your drawer balanced and how you handled ID checks, cash limits and long queues. Banks check backgrounds before hiring, so show a clean record, such as a current NBI clearance in the Philippines, and list any anti-money laundering training.

How to write a bank teller CV

  1. Give your daily volume and transaction types, for example '120 deposits, withdrawals, cheque encashments and bills payments a day'.
  2. State your balancing record, such as 'drawer balanced on 98% of days over three years, with every variance cleared the same day'.
  3. Show compliance and service in numbers, like 'verified IDs and signatures on every transaction, flagged 20 suspicious cases' or 'enrolled 30 customers a month in mobile banking'.
  4. With no bank experience, use cashier or customer service jobs and give the cash figure, for example 'handled PHP 250,000 in daily takings and balanced the till every night'.
